Linda had to say...**********For the WL Swaps - I would love ANY form - HB, PB, MMP, LP, ARC Also, many of my WL books have not been released, if a pre-order situation is available and you are so inclined, I would be delighted********** A little bit about me....I am a just turned forty BBW and mom of 2 teenage boys (1 mine, 1 his) and 1 teenage girl (his). I have a wonderful boyfriend (AJ) who I have been with for almost 5 years. Currently, he is in school for graphic design and I work as a production manager/editor for a national woodworking magazine. Needless to say, my house is always busy. I love to read and use reading as a get away from the realities of the real world. I like mysteries and thrillers mostly but am open to almost anything except historical pieces., most romance novels, (harlequin), sci-fi. My birthday is April 6 (Aries) ********************************************* For the Swaps: I like : dark angels, fairies, dragons and gargoyles. In particular, fairies by Jessica Galbreth or Amy Brown. And I adore Maxine and Maxinisms and Calvin & Hobbes. anything tye-dyed with bright colors butterflies, frogs, rabbits and bears, anything by Thomas Kincaide (or any artist that resembles his work) I love bookmarks, bookcovers, bookmates, PBS credits ( I have more than enough right now-thanks) One of the things I would love to do is to be a bit more agile. Due to the side effects of thyroid cancer, thyroid removal and subsequent radiation, I suffer from stiffening joint pain. I'd love to try exercising but most exertion tires me out. A PBS friend recommended Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds. I thought if I started with just getting up and moving (the basics) that might help. Stationary: cards, lined paper, return labels, notecards, stickers, posts-its, pens- I can use them all. Mailers, packing tape, bubble wrap, post-its are all wonderful. Look at my office amazon list for ideas. Air fresheners: plug-in types, reed diffusers, sprays, oils even the ones that just sit there. Bath and Body: (Please no scented body wash, lotions, scrubs, etc. I have more than enough.) Some things I could really use are just your average generic moisturizing body wash, Walmart brand face wash (blue tube), Downy wrinkle releaser, Maybelline waterproof eye makeup remover, Loreal #620 (Mica), lipstick, oatmeal lotion (like Aveno), dental floss, citrus mouth wash, an Infinity razor, nail files (those wide colorful ones), washcloths, Pond's cold cream, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation -Sandy Beige, Maybelline Cover Stick Corrector Concealer - Medium Beige, Maybelline Full & Soft Waterproof Mascara - Brownish Black. Beverages: Iced tea (Red Rose is my favorite), Pepsi. Coffee (taste or smell) makes me nauseous. Candy and Chocolate: I love milk chocolate and white chocolate, Snickers, Milky Way, Reese cups, 100 Grand Bars, Tootsie Rolls, Peanut M&M's, Rolos, Brownies. Twizzlers, Mike & Ikes, Skittles, Caramel Cremes. I dislike mints and dark chocolate (taste or smell). I LOVE Tastykakes - krimpets, chocolate cupcakes and coffee cakes. You can't get them here in WV so I have to rely on the kindness of strangers to get my fix. Clothing: I would love a few t-shirts (2XL). I like the ones they have at Walmart in the guys section that have sayings on them or bands (example: Sarcasm is just one service I offer, or Pink Floyd, etc) or womens sleeveless v-neck t-shirts (2XL). Collect: I collect large (28"x40") decorative garden flags, faeries, and Mickey Mouse. Crafts:
I'm looking for is a book like "Jewelry Making for Dummies" but I haven't found one yet. I just purchased one of those starter jewelry making kits so I'm a complete newbie. I’m also looking for an inexpensive laminator,
Favorite colors are black and burgundy. I'm also partial to all of the colors in a box of 8 Crayola Crayons (like the ones we had in kindergarten) except orange and brown.
